The Longest Day Ever!!

Well ladies, it looks like some of us are in for a long night! It will be fun, though, and for a great reason!
This week we looked at some of the reasons why someone might leave his/her current situation and venture into the unknown. What would be your breaking point and what are some of the fears you may have? What issues would you be encountering? How does that make you feel about your current situation?
Good luck to all the dancers, everyone off to Esterhazy and to Kylie! Have a great weekend and we'll see you on Monday!!

TGIF BLOG

Hello Ladies,
I hope your day is going well. We're off to Edmonton for my cousin's wedding - hoping to hit the West Ed one day(I promised Bailey we'd go Build-A-Bear - so that will be fun!)
I enjoyed all of your research projects this week. It really makes you grateful for the
life that we enjoy.
In your research on The Canadian Rights and Freedoms and all of the presentations we heard, what affected you the most? Which right or freedom do you have that others don't. Be specific. How do you feel about that? What was the most interesting thing you have learned this week?
I hope dance competition and music festival go well and everyone has a chance to rest after such a hectic week.
Enjoy your weekend and I'll see you on Monday :)

1st formal post

Hello girls! I'm so glad you are enjoying our new blog site! We are so fortunate to live in a country where our basic human rights are protected. Unfortunately, it is not like that in other places. What basic human rights are being denied in the novel you are reading? Identify the setting, protagonist and antagonist(s). How would you feel in the protagonist's shoes? I'm looking forward to reading your blogs. Have a great weekend!
