(8)Too young to know......(8)
JFK Junior
This picture spoke to me because JFK Junior is so little and he understands how much a salute means. It is also surprising that he is not crying or throwing a temper tantrum. It is surprising that he can understand the whole concept of his father being killed. You would think that he would be crying and confused. I think he looks sweet, cute and patriotic.

Why wont the boat float?
Why wont the boat float???
On Wednesday night around 11:00 a boat capsized in Kelwona, B.C. A party boat was flipped over near the shores of Okanagan Lake. 59 people are recovering from this Tragady and one woman is hospitalized. They are almost positive that everyone else is safe, although they are not compleately sure of how many people were on the boat. The people were all celebrating a birthday party and to get to shore they clung to coolers and other floatable objects. They had to break through a window to get to the cabin of the boat. I thought that this was stupid people and that this should never be done.

What an incredible woman! This soft-spoken Holocaust survivor touched all of our hearts with her amazing story of courage, strength and perseverence. By the grace of God, she is able to retell her story to educate and inspire people like yourselves to live life to its fullest, forgive, love and treat everyone as you would like to be treated.

What a fun farewell!
Good Morning ladies!!
What a fun evening last night! Everything was so lovely- the Mass, the ceremony, slideshow...and you girls all looked so beautiful! I hope you all had a lot of fun at the dance!
The year is quickly winding down but we have a lot of interesting things left to do. I have invited a very fascinating woman to come in to speak with us Monday morning. She is a Holocaust survivor and she is going to share her experiences with you all. She was your age during the war...It makes me think of last night- how excited you all were with so many new and exciting experiences ahead of you...imagine all of that taken away from you! She is very eager to speak with you and answer any of your questions, so spend some time this weekend thinking about what you would like to ask her.
Have a very restful weekend and I'll see you all on Monday!!
