Hello girls! I'm so glad you are enjoying our new blog site! We are so fortunate to live in a country where our basic human rights are protected. Unfortunately, it is not like that in other places. What basic human rights are being denied in the novel you are reading? Identify the setting, protagonist and antagonist(s). How would you feel in the protagonist's shoes? I am reading So far from the bamboo grove. Human rights are being mistreated because the Japanese are forced to flee from the Koreans in war. The setting is in Different places and the protaganist is Yoko and the antaganist is the Korean soldiers. I would feel almost dead if i were in Yoko's shoes because she has been walking for sooooo long without much food.
