Do you have brown eyes or blue?

Today we watched the documentary A Class Divided. What was the most interesting part? Why were the blue- eyed children so quick to treat the other brown-eyed children like second-class citizens? How were their test scores affected? Why didn't the lesser group,in both cases, stand up and say anything? Give a real-life example of this type of discrimination and its effect on people.

I think the most interesting part was how they all got to experiance greater and lesser power. It was like they had a chance to really feel how it was to the other skin colors. I thiknk they were so quick because they were convinced that they were better and could treat the other kids like dirt. Their test scores were higher when they were more in power and lower when they were "less superior" than the others. They did'nt stand up because it would set a bad name for the "blue-eyed" people or the "brown-eyed people. In real life the blacks are sometimes treated lesser or greater. It is also like this in a way between men and women. Men are seen as the greater p[epople and women are seen as just being there.
